Power, Precision, Camaraderie:
Milton Volleyball
Milton Academy Volleyball has built one of the more competitive and consistent programs in the ISL, with a multi-decade track record of championship success and a sustained presence in the postseason. The program has earned a reputation as a premier destination for serious volleyball players in New England, built on high-level competition and a commitment to developing every athlete on the roster.
Beyond the results, the program is anchored by traditions that bring the team together off the court. Friday night team dinners, game-day dress-ups, and the highly anticipated end-of-season matches against faculty and rival varsity teams give the season its rhythm and reinforce a culture where competitive intensity and genuine camaraderie coexist.

Program Philosophy: More Than a Team
At Milton, greatness isn't just about wins — it's about building something bigger. The program is a close-knit family that knows each other's stories, celebrates milestones together, and carries one another through every challenge. That bond is what creates the energy that anyone can feel the moment they step into the gym.
Athletes are expected to bring their best effort every day, both on and off the court — excelling in the classroom, giving back to the community, and leading by example. Respect, sportsmanship, and friendship are the program's core values, with the goal of inspiring the next generation of girls in the stands to pick up a ball and play with pride.
That commitment to excellence shows up in results, too — a consistent presence on the All-ISL and All-NEPSAC honors lists. By creating an environment where hard work is celebrated and support is unconditional, the program ensures every athlete leaves with a real sense of pride in her Mustang journey.

A Place for All
The Milton Volleyball program offers three distinct levels of competition, ensuring that players of all skill levels have the opportunity to develop their game within a consistent tactical structure:
1st Team: 12–15 players (Approx. 20 games per season)
2nd Team: 15–18 players (18–20 games per season)
3rd Team: Developing players (5–10 games per season)
Practices emphasize mastery of the fundamentals and translating them into high-speed, game-like situations. While players eventually specialize in positions, we ensure every athlete is knowledgeable in all facets of the game. Our goal is to provide every Mustang with the technical skills and tactical IQ to find success in the ISL and beyond.

Coaching Staff

Tori Perez
Head Coach
Coach Perez has been an integral part of the Milton Academy volleyball community since 2016. After serving as JV Head Coach for three seasons and transitioning to the Varsity program as an assistant in 2019, she took over as Head Coach in 2020. Under her leadership, the program has continued to emphasize technical precision, defensive tenacity, and the family-first culture that defines Milton Volleyball.
Her coaching philosophy is rooted in an extensive competitive background. A standout athlete at Fontbonne Academy, she went on to play at Bridgewater State University as a defensive specialist and libero. That expertise in court awareness and defensive systems is further sharpened by her work on the club circuit, where she coaches for the Mass Patriots Volleyball Club, helping athletes across the region reach their collegiate goals.

Liz Albany
Assistant Coach, Varsity Volleyball
Coach Albany joined the Milton Academy volleyball program with over a decade of competitive experience and a proven track record of program building. Before coming to Milton, she spent seven seasons leading the Varsity Girls program at the Montrose School, transforming a developing squad into a robust, three-tier program and guiding her teams to two IGC Championships and four NEPSAC playoff appearances.
A lifelong student of the game, Coach Albany has been competing on the court since fifth grade, bringing that longevity and tactical depth to every training session. At Milton, she also serves as a 6th-grade math teacher and Middle School Class Dean — a role that reflects the same principles of growth and community she brings to coaching.
