Weekends at Milton are packed with fun.
All boarding and day students are encouraged to take part in activities every weekend during the school year—students don’t have to live on campus to join. The Student Activities Association (SAA), supported by the director of Student Activities, plans on-campus events and activities in and around our great city of Boston. Events are free to all students.
What exactly do Milton students do on weekends? Well, they play—or watch and cheer—at games, matches, and meets; compete with the speech and debate or robotics teams; perform or watch friends perform in King Theatre; share their music and spoken-word talents at the Beatnik Café open-mic night; work out at the fitness center; hang in the Schwarz Student Center; hike, rock climb, or kayak with the Outdoor Program; bake cookies and watch a movie with housemates; play pickup basketball or Frisbee; sleep in and then go to brunch; walk to East Milton Square for coffee and shopping; visit friends’ rooms and listen to music; meet friends at a dance; catch a game or a show—or explore a museum—in Boston.
Most importantly, weekend activities are opportunities for students to relax, laugh, and build friendships that last a lifetime.
