RENTALS

Milton Academy rents grass fields on weekdays after 6pm, Sundays, and over school breaks. No fields have lights. In the fall, fields are lined for soccer and field hockey. In the spring, fields are lined for baseball, softball, and lacrosse. 

Milton Academy rents indoor gymnasiums on weekdays after 6pm, Sundays, and over our school breaks. 

Caroline Saltonstall Gymnasium (“CSG”)

• A single basketball court gym, no air conditioning, no bleachers
• Closest parking in the “Pool Lot” off Randolph Avenue

Robert Saltonstall Gymnasium (“RSG”) 

• A single basketball court gym, no air conditioning, no bleachers
• Closest parking along Chapel Hill or in the Athletic Center parking lot

Fitzgibbons Convocation Center (“FCC”)

• Three full size basketball courts within the main Athletic Center, air conditioning available, bleachers available on Courts 1 & 3, curtains can be lowered between courts
• Parking in front of the Athletic Center

Milton Academy’s ice is available for rental from early November through early March during weekday mornings, weekday evenings, weekends, and school breaks. Occasional open Community / Public Skating hours are posted on the school's ice rink page.

Milton Academy’s open campus allows visitors to use the outdoor track for personal walking or running. Bike riding and pets are not allowed on the track. Any organized activities must be approved through the campus services and events office.

Milton Academy has six tennis courts on the north side of campus and six on the south side of campus. While courts are generally open for personal use outside of school athletic team hours, they can also be rented out for private lessons, camps, or tennis programs. Any organized activities must be approved through the campus services and events office.

The Williams Squash Courts contain seven international sized courts in their own dedicated building. Outside of our own teams’ usage and our own specialty squash camp weeks, the courts are available to rent for full-scale programs and tournaments.

Milton Academy has a variety of spaces to host meetings and conferences, ranging from conference rooms to classroom settings to modern academic halls.  Conferences can be hosted during the academic year in limited spaces with more flexibility over school breaks and summers. Available meeting spaces include:

• FMC Hobbs Commons 
• Arts Commons 

Milton Academy offers extensive campus facilities for filming and photography projects including commercials, documentaries, magazines, and feature films. Buildings include classic ivy-covered academic centers and dorms as well as specialty areas including arts, library, theater, and science spaces. Numerous playing fields, gyms (including locker rooms), and dining halls are also available. Close proximity to Boston makes Milton Academy an ideal location for film projects. The School has been used as a film location and/or base camp for several productions including:

Our staff regularly work with location scouts, facilitate efficient and thorough site visits, and support production teams during filming. 

Milton Academy hosts athletic, academic, and retreats from mid-June to mid-August, and during winter (mid-December) and spring breaks (mid-March). Dining options are available.

Milton Academy’s beautiful grounds are available to host corporate outings. Amenities may include tents, tables and chairs, tennis courts, gymnasiums, fields, and a small children’s playground. Volleyball nets and bouncy houses may also be set up upon request. Restrooms are readily accessible along with convenient, onsite parking. Catering can be arranged through our Dining Services partner Aramark, or outside, licensed caterers may be used.
